Omar Khadr, Don't Weep for Him, He's No Little Angel

Ezra Levant says we shouldn't cry for Omar Khadr and stop seeing him as a sweet innocent little lamb who could do no harm  who is being railroaded for something he couldn't possibly have anything to do with. Oh no, poor poor baby, after all he's was just a "child soldier" you know.  He had no clue about what he was getting into so how could he possibly be responsible for killing an evil American soldier?   You know those Americans, they just want to be the world's policeman anyway.

On the other hand could it be that little Omar is not such a little angel that the bleeding heart far left portray him to be?
Child soldier? OK he was 15yrs. old when he allegedly threw that grenade that killed an American medic and  wasn't part of a uniformed organized army. Heck, the same bleeding heart lefties cried when the age of consent was raised from 14 to 16 yrs of age.  So in other words they think it's OK for a kid of 14 to get a learners permit and have sex but at the same time at  age 15, you can be classified as a "child soldier."  Go figure! Some 15yr. old's can even be tried as adults for some serious crimes, especially in the US.   Most kids today, at 15, in this information age are mature and worldly enough to know what they are doing most of the time.

So yeah, I agree with Ezra.  Don't cry for Omar Khadr!  He is no angel!

  1. Omar left in prison in the states when he since he was fifteen years old in 2002 when the Jean Chretien was in government is not uttered by the media but if the situation was reverse well, every family cousin you name it will be interviewed but knowing that it was under Chretien, the media keeps their trap shut.

Omar is definetetly not an angel as he said a couple a years ago that he plans to take revenge.

By the way, the media and the opposition parties support terrorist groups so why not OMAR. Most likely he will join theM in government.

The media is trying to pin Jean's omar on the conservatives for leaving him in prison.

The PM as usual is being blamed for something that happened during the liberals years.

Exactly! Just like they try and pin the so called detainee torture on the PM when in fact this government improved the agreement of the transfer of detainees. Most of the so called torture was going on when the Libs were in power.

Maybe Omar will run for the Libs or Dippers and they can make him defence, public safety or foreign affairs critic or maybe critic of all those files.
Or maybe the Libs will install him as their new leader after Iffy loses the next election.

You can say that again! The MSM would sooner be on the side of the Taliban than our troops. Makes you wonder if they really care about our country.

  5. from the seat of my old chevy truck i can hear the disrespect all the way from afganistan. a new canadian gets up to 2900 per month yet our seniors get 900 on canada pension. people who fought and died for this country. they are known as canada's greatest generation, sod busters and city kids who grew up in the great depression and came of age in time to go to war. and they did and they died, sometimes [ as in the case of nova scotia ] they lost a whole generation of young men in a few hours for this country. i am getting tired of my rights , my rights, gimmee, gimmee, gimmee,

  10. frmgrl, read this then ask yourself why isn't the media talking about her instead of OMAR.

She was only trying to defend God's very own yet she was sentence to jail for years-no committee or anything in her behalf yet the protesters who violated and cause more problems-Holland wants an enquiry. What about this lady.

Wow,Jen. I read that and THAT IS AN EXAMPLE OF REAL INJUSTICE! The reason as to why the media is not talking about her is because she is a pro-lifer trying to save the lives of the most vulnerable and they, the MSM are pro-abortion. Of course they're not going talk about it. Omar is their little poster boy for the far left bleeding hearts. They see that little twerp as a poor innocent little lamb who has been unjustly accused of murder. There is truly something wrong with that picture. Makes me sick!
