The problem with the classroom is the fact that most of the teachers never left it. The classroom becomes an echo chamber of ever increasing insanity because it doesn't get enough grounding in reality. In my time on this earth I have noticed that when people live too isolated a life they begin to hatch the weirdest theories in part because they don't have to prove them by presenting them to others. Nowhere is this more evident than what you see in our education industry. Unlike medicine where crack pot theories kill people or engineering where crack pot theories cause bridges to fall down the crack pot ideas in education/academe go unchecked and unfettered.Joenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2850973949490261969.post-27508395854536321612010-10-04T10:35:18.736-06:002010-10-04T10:35:18.736-06:00The opinions of a so-called "intellectual&quo...The opinions of a so-called "intellectual" are only as valid as his experience in the field he is commenting on.

Ignatieff,I'm sure, can expound on theories by the hour, but his practical experience is non-existent.

Michael Ignatieff has absolutely no qualifications to do anything more than what he's done his entire life, spout theories, and his place is in the classroom, not on the political stage.

Ignatieff is a displaced member of the European royal classes, and his worth to Canada as a politician is about equivalent to that of Prince Charles,or Andrew,or Harry.

The Liberal Party made a massive miscalculation in hiring this man to be Leader. I'd love to find out who first suggested Ignatieff as a possible candidate for PM.dmorrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00068077596719584731noreply@blogger.com
