Quebecor eyes Fox News-style TV for Canada
One thing is for sure, we need something like this. The former chief spokesman for Prime Minister StephenHarper is spearheading a bid by Quebecor Inc. to set up a Fox News-style TV station in Canada with an unabashedly right-of-centre perspective.Quebecor has filed an application with the CRTC, Canada's broadcast regulator, to operate an English-language news channel. The application has not yet been made public but a source says an announcement on the venture is “imminent.”
frmgrl- "One thing is for sure, we need something like this."
ReplyDeleteBoy! do we ever!
frmgrl, Glenn b. show this afternoon was very good. I hope that the canadian liberals are paying attention to this as he Glenn warns the Dem and both their involvement with the likes far left radicals.

ReplyDeleteI did watch that show. I do believe the far left has infiltrated the Libs. Look at Bob Rae and Ujjal Dosanj both former NDP premiers. You can see they have been leaning left ever since PM Paul Martin left.
That would be too good to be true. I'm liking Quebecor better every day. It sounds like Ezra might be one of the new show hosts, he would be Canada's Glenn Beck! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteBring Fox news to Canada! I really hope this happens.
ReplyDeleteThis news attracted over 600 comments on the Globe website.
ReplyDeleteI skimmed a few.
The overall tone was against.
What are they afraid of?
They don't have to watch if they don't like it.
Some asked for proof of left wing media bias. (Jeezy-creezy!)
Others said we didn't need a propaganda channel aimed at angry old white guys.
I say if that's what angry old white guys want to watch, then let them.
Seems the left is for free speech until someone disagrees with them.
Even when their opposition is prepared to play with their own money.
Don't forget - Kory Teneycke left his CBC retainer commentary thing to go to Quebecor to be VP Development. Looking good!!!

I just pray that such an accomplishment(FOX) does succeed and those who are against it for no reason at all will realize that they were used for years by the so call National Media for the media own entertainment of manipulation.
