The Way Forward

Last night Premier Ed Stelmach in a pre-recorded presentation, "The Way Forward" tried to convince us that his government has a handle on things and things will be alright in time. We would be in surplus territory in 3yrs.

How Mr. Premier, with your big spending.

We need more tranmission lines, why when it's going to cost the consumers more for power?

He will take care of seniors etc. Really?

Wage freeze for the public service? Good luck with one. Not gonna be so easy. Pay cut for you and your MLAs, good start but not enough.

You didn't win me over with that little talk. Why now? Could it be Mr. Premier that your poll numbers are tanking and the Wildrose Alliance is gaining on you?

Suppose you had to do something. You do have nice dog. We have one just like yours.

Oh, we wouldn't be in this major deficit situation if you had managed things better. Take a look next door, Premier Brad Wall has managed Sask. much better, including taking away business from us in the oil sector because of your royalty forumla.

Your presentation last night was a whole bunch of nothing.

BTW. How much did your little state of province pre-recorded video cost us anyway?

Somewhere Stephane Dion Must be smiling

Who would have thought that the Liberals could do worse than with Stephane Dion?

They thought, play change the leader and everything would be fine. They would soar in public support and return to their rightful place.

Looks like it hasn't turned out like they expected. Their new leader hasn't actually turned Canadians on, in fact it's the opposite. The last few polls have actually said the public is not ready to return them to their rightful place anytime soon. They are right where they were with Stephane Dion a year ago.
Here's the latest one. Keeps saying the same thing as the others. It's not getting any better for those Libs.

So at least Mr. Dion can take heart in these latest polls, the current leader is not doing any better than he did. Infact the current leader is doing a bit worse.
