MONTREAL - Former Bloc Quebecois head Gilles Duceppe said he doesn't think there is anything controversial about an ex-soveregnist leader working at the state broadcaster. So now Gilles not only gets his gold plated MP's pension but he'll be receiving a nice little paycheck as well paid for by you and me. Someone who despises the rest of Canada and whose raison d'etre is to break up the country but is all to glad to take our money.
Duceppe starts work as a columnist for the French CBC next week.
CBC? Time to shut 'em down. Switch off the lights, lock the doors, and say good nite! I'm sick and tired of the state broadcaster sucking from the public teet to spew their garbage. Giving the former Bloc leader a soapbox is the last straw. Here that James Moore?
Update: Gilles steps down from CBC.
"Following a misunderstanding about the nature of its mandate, Gilles Duceppe has chosen not to be a weekly columnist for the show," the Radio-Canada said in a statement Wednesday afternoon.
Moore might hear it, problem is does Harper. Still he has put Royal back into the Navy and Air force.
ReplyDeleteApparently from what I read on the ticker on Sun TV during Ezra's show, mentions, that 'Duceppe backs down from taking job at CBC'.

ReplyDeleteThank God! Thanks for letting me Jen. Will update my post.
I wonder what his severance package from the CBC was?

ReplyDeleteYeah,me too! Bet it was a sweet heart deal.
I think that Duceppe is not gone for good CBC will cook up something for him to do paid by the public.
ReplyDeleteThis whole thing was too fast too soon so, CBC will have to find another sneaky way of re-hiring Duceppe which could be, 'a temporary guest show host leading up to a permanent job at CBC.
In other words, the more he speaks and acts as a host in place of another host (set up), the sooner and quicker he remains on the show.
The plot is thickening.

ReplyDeleteYou could be right. Or maybe he'll start out by making appearances as a pundit like Mark Holland, Martha Hall Finely or NDP Judy Washingmachine does now on P&P?

ReplyDeleteExactly!!!
However, CBC has to wait a while a month or so or until the public have simmered down forgetting or ignoring the DUCEPPE AND CBC sudden love affair before re-establishing Duceppe.
