Wildrose to Unveil Their Full Slate of Candidates

With an election expected to be called any day the Wildrose Party is to unveil their full slate of candidates today.  There will candidates in all 87 ridings plus three candidates for senate elections.
We need to boot the old tired corrupt PC party out and get some fresh blood in the Alberta Legislature.
Wildrose candidate in Calgary MaCall, Gary Dauphin is sensing an appetite for change.
Grant Galpin, Wildrose candidate for Calgary McCall, said there is an appetite for change.
The Tories have suffered recently over several controversies.
“I think it’s going to be a very competitive election going forward and I think from a Wildrose perspective, and certainly from a personal perspective, I think there is a real growing sense there could be a significant change going forward,” he said.
“It is quite a feat for a relatively new party to ... go from one MLA to not only having additional MLAs due to floor crossing, but to also suddenly be competing at a level of head-to-head with a major party that has been in power for 40 years.”
With Wildrose nipping at the heels of the PCs in the polls this campaign  will sure to be a hard fought one on both sides.   We need to get out and support these Wildrose candidates in anyway we can.  Call your local association to volunteer, donate money, get the message out to everyone you come into contact with.

Remember the PCs are NOT conservative in any way shape or form.  Don't be fooled.  There is only one conservative party in Alberta and that party is the Wildrose.

  1. I will be voting for Andrew Constantinidis who is my Wildrose candidate in Calgary-West. After the gong show of the last month with electing a PC Rep for this riding I believe that Andrew has a very good chance to win this.

  2. Have been to a couple of meetings with our WRA candidate, and one with Danielle. Large turnouts at all of them. I took a sign home last week and will put it up when election is called.
A couple of things in the WRA program just happen to have been stolen from them and Redali is saying she will change the way MLAs are paid. Funny, Danielle said that last summer re committee pay.

Yeah, you're right. She did. Wonder what else will be stolen from Wildrose yet. We may find out in the coming weeks.

  4. Face-it the WildRose Party is almost non-existent outside of Calgary. Their already using Robocalls, you would think with the Robocall circus you would leave them alone.

  5. Sorry to disappoint Archie, but the calls I have received are not from the WRA. And I don't live anywhere near Calgary and will vote WRA. So will a lot of southern Albertans.
Redmonton will probably stick with their ndp leader, Allison Redford.

  6. I live in Danielle's riding south of Calgary. There is already a lot of excitement and interest regarding WRA. For the PC party....not so much. The PC candidate,John Barlow, is respected in the area, but is new to politics. It remains to be seen how well he can handle all the PC baggage. Go WRA.

    1. I predict Danielle will win handily. She's smart, charismatic, articulate and really knows her files.

  7. I agree she does know her files. Last summer she answered all questions for an hour with no notes or telepromter.
Since then she has had time to put her plans in place.
