Maybe I'm biased. I admit I'm a Calgary Flames fan so I thought Bowmeister and maybe Phanuef should have made it. Otherwise, this might end up being not a half bad team. After all remember what happened last time? Team Canada blew it!

What do you think? Do you think this is a gold medal winning team? Are there others you think should have made the team? Are you disappointed with any of the choices? What say you?

  1. The only event in the Olympics that I really pay attention to and enjoy is the hockey both mens and womens. Other than that the games really don't interest me.

  2. No Canada did not pick the best players, I also think that Jay Beaumeester and Dion Phaneuf should have been chosen, as well as Mike Cammallari from Montreal Canadiens. Cammallari has be a prolific goal scorer with the three teams he has played for. Martin St Louis would also be a better selection instead of Mike Richards. Second, we did not get the best coach. Pat Quinn who coached Canada to a gold medal in Salt Lake would have been a better choice; Brent Sutter who coached the Canadian Juniors to back to back gold medals would also make an exceptional coach. I do not think that our Canadian mens hockey team will do very well; so, I hope that the ladies excel and bring home the gold
