Dave Rutherford on Fire Today, Tears Lame Stream Media Apart

You have to go listen to Dave Rutherford this morning in Audio Vault.  The fire is in the belly today that's for sure. He does a very good job tearing apart the Central Lame Stream Media.  He feels there certainly is a campaign on to invoke fear of PM Harper and the Conservatives.  He points out all the distortions of the media.  He starts out in his first segment talking about this weird phony bizarre story the CBC put out last night.
Later on in the show he rants on about how the Lame Stream media is trying distort to scare voters on various issues.  He goes after Jeffery Simpson, James Traversty and Susan Delacourt etc.   You can listen here starting with the first segment @ approx. 9:06am then go on to the later segment @ approx. 10:35am.  Enjoy, you'll be glad you did.   It's a must listen.

  1. A perfect day too for the Rutherford Rumble as it's miserable and rainy here and the 'FIRE' feels good!

I think that first caller got him really revved up when he said that Corus needs to stay on these guys, daily.

The CBC thing is just so disgusting, akin to brainwashing.

  2. Good for Dave . I heard him this morning and I agree 100% . I don't understand how the hell ANYBODY can swallow their bs any more at all . Yet here on blooging tories , after all the media bashing they do on here , cbc comes up with this bogus story and so many swallow the bait , hook , line sinker and dead mminnows . DOWN WITH HARPER !!!!!!!!!!. WE NEED BERNIER . !!!!!! And some non-partisan visitor sees this and says , damn , even the conservative bloggers don't like Harper , guess I'll vote for somebody else . But its cool ,free speech is ok , but can't people just write their mp ? Every vote is going to count in some areas.

  4. cantuc@12:02,

Exactly! I think we conservatives have a tendency to become easily discouraged and then start eating our own. We must not allow ourselves to do that. We have to remember who the real opponents are and come out fighting. The left wing and their media are like cornered rats. Look at their outrage about SunTV for example. They are scared silly. They are losing and they know it so they'll swing anything at us. Watch out, fasten your seat belts, this is just the beginning! They will stoop to new lows to attack especially the PM and his government. We must not take the BS anymore.
I think the communications strategy in the PMO needs to change. They need to be more aggressive.
They need to be proactive and not allow themselves to be on the defensive all the time.

  5. Yeah , but like Ruthrford said this morning , he said almost exactly the same thing earlier word for word . They lied . They will continue to lie . Harper would almost need to be live on cbc 24 hours a day doing pre-emptive strikes . But maybe people are realising this , hopefully.

  6. DAve on fire is correct-Dave has to work double the job not only to only discuss the Alberta affairs but to daily inform Canadians the true architects behind the liberal media.

BTW, I dreamt that you call on us to say the Rosary by you starting of saying the signing of the cross, then the Apostle's creed. It sounded so real that I got up to say the Rosary which I do everyday or six days.

Glenn my boy is doing the job for us on the media. man oh man, he gets angry at them. No wonder the americans tune in to him.

  7. frmgrl, we must quiz the public-must. they have to be brought back to reality; to remove the clouds from their minds; to think anew or else they would be swallow into a world they would never ever venture into had they known.

Where are all the true reporters; it is well and good to write on paper but what good will it do if and when most canadians do not know them nor heard them far less to read their articles. Like I said, what good will it for them to write about the good things happening to our canada when canada will not be - as he writes today. Canada under three parties will destroy this country. so, those reporters better get off the desk lets say and find themselves in front of the liberals or any party mp and ask serious questions. The canadians have a right to know.

  9. Jen,just like Glenn Beck in the US, has said they need to get back to God, we here in Canada need to do like wise. We have strayed so far from God in the past decades, no wander we have the kind of problems that we do. What we need to do is get on our knees and pray. Glenn has inspired me to get close to God again. We must have a change in our hearts before there is change in the country. That my friend is the answer to the attack of the media, the coalition etc, to everything for that matter.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV

  10. Another thing, we need to pray for our politicians at all levels of government that God will touch their hearts no matter the political stripes. Join me in praying especially for the PM and his government for strength, and wisdom as this session of parliament resumes because there will surely be more vicious attacks from the usual suspects. Pray for up coming municipal elections where ever you are that the right candidates who will do the right thing will be elected.

  11. It's clear that the far left's cage has been sufficiently rattled and the 'dis' (as in distort) is in.

Case in point: scope out the most recent ravings from Sister Spiteful's Musings, wherein she suggests that the Conservative Party or the Blogging Tories may be involved in the creation of the Dawson College Massacre video game.

I think it's about time that Sister Spiteful got sued, personally.

Sister Spiteful's Musings sounds a lot like Heather Malice.

  13. It's interesting that they share the same lack of a sense of irony.

Case in point: Sister Spiteful insists that Stephen Harper would suspend democracy. Fact in point: it's leftists, such as radical environmentalists, who muse about suspending democracy.

  14. Why is the story bogus?

Lobbyists on all sides will gear up on concerned issues.
Why wouldn't the NRA be involved and comment? What is the problem?

And why is it not appropriate to point out the interest groups implicated in an issue? This is a current political football - so why shouldn't the CBC mention this? I only see it as objectionable if there is fallacy - is there?
