Was Jack Layton Bullied To Reject the Budget?

Senator Mike Duffy in an interview on CFRA reveals that Jack Layton was originally going to support the budget until he got bullied into not to supporting it by his Quebec MP Thomas Mulcair.  You have to hear it..  Listen here. and then pass it on.

  2. What happens to the NDP if Layton has to withdraw mid-campaign? Are Pat Martin and the ever ambitious Thomas Mulcair bullying their leader into a very risky health situation?

  3. I can't decide if Mulclair is a closet separatist or a fair weather federalist?
    Its hard to tell as neither will bargain in good faith.
    At least with the outright separatist, you know its a shakedown.

  5. That interview with the Duff seems to indicate the coalition is a creation of the far left. Look at who is driving for an election.
    In liberal land, its those that want to replace Iggy, in the NDP its those that want to replace Jack Layton.
