It doesn't help that the media party are doing their part to whip up the frenzy.
Bluelikeyou is suggesting maybe what's behind this is the opps want a do over of the last election. I'm thinking the same thing. The Conservative majority is not quite the result that the opposition and the media party were looking for on May 2 last year. I'm pretty sure they were anticipating another minority in which the NDP/Lib/Bloc coalition could be installed.
Anyway, Ezra Levant has good synopsis of what's going on.
The politicians need to get to work on real issues. The economy is still shaky, we have a debt and deficit that needs to be dealt with. The middle east is fire with Assad killing his people and Iran working on nuclear weapons and threatening Israel. The financial crisis in Europe. How about the Kitchener Dad who got arrested over his little girl's drawing the most of the media still has not pick up?
I am sick and tired of all the shenanigans that go on. All the whipped up hysteria over faux scandals over the years. With the latest robocall hysteria, everyone please calm down until the investigation is done. In the mean time lets focus on real issues.
Meanwhile people are dying all over the middle east and Africa. Putin's taking Russia down the road of the Oligarchs. The American are defeating Israel and the themselves, but the big news is that Mansbridge has a pimple on his bum.
ReplyDeleteMust be a slow news week in Canada when the clowns in the media have to dig out crap to talk about!
1. It may be nothing more than making sure a Conservative doesn’t win in Jack Layton’s old riding. This news was known months ago. Why would they wait till now to make a big fuss about it? The only thing is the upcoming by-election.
ReplyDelete2. It wouldn’t surprise me if Mr. Rae is behind this. Remember how split the Liberal party is. Remember how Iggy was anointed leader while Mr. Rae was told to stand aside. Rae is spitting mad because he wasn’t given a fair shot at the leadership. Does everything in his power to make sure Iggy loses big time. (he knew the Liberals weren’t going to win anyway.) This causes Iggy to ride off into the sunset. Also, notice how a lot of the targeted ridings had absolutely no chance of a Liberal win. Also, he knew the vote subsidy was being eliminated so fewer Liberal votes in a Conservative riding would make no difference. Lastly, make sure the call centre identified themselves as Conservative and then unveil a Robo-call scandal when it serves the Liberal interests. Yesterday’s admission on the vikileaks scandal only has me more convinced I’ve got this scenario nailed. Remember how the leaks were released from an N.D.P. address.
Dave, you could be right. It's perfectly plausible.
DeleteThe opposition has been singing this song for a while.
ReplyDeleteThey have managed to tune out more and more voters each time there is an election.
Just a steaming pile of same old same old.
Cheers Bubba
I have been thinking the same thing Dave has. And if you listened to Dave R this a.m. when he talked to the CEO of Racknine, it makes more sense. No calls are made from that office or premise. What was to stop a liberal from signing up a contract, uploading phone numbers and preparing the questions. What is to stop a person against the CPC from providing questions to smear the CPC.
ReplyDeleteSo far, Racknine has only had requests from EC re Quelph and all info was turned over to them. Where are the wolfpack getting info as to how many calls were made or where they come from, unless they themselves did it.
And why is this wolfpack so anxious to overturn the results of Quelph, guess they don't like the liberal that was elected. It wont just be CPC results that could be overturned, liberal and ndp could be thrown out.
Yeah,I was listening to that too. You're right. What is stopping someone who hates the CPC to cause some trouble?
DeleteThe CPC would have won more than 166 seats if it wasn't for the liberal left media, and they're still at it.There should be an investigation in how The NDPPQ won over 50 seats in Quebec with all the deadwood running for them. When they're in Question Period they wouldn't even know what day it was if the were asked.
DeleteOne way for Harper to settle this, call a by-election in Guelph. That seems what the opposition wants. Will they mind, even if it was won by the Liberals quite handily.
DeleteMost definetly Gerald that CPC would have won by a larger margin and come to think of it, the media has taken upon themselves to try 'deflect voters from the conservatives long before the election was called and during election imo.
ReplyDeleteGreat comments... IMO one thing is for sure... this latest smear campaign by the Libranos/NDPQ and the Media Party just gets dumber and dumber... and how could it not, when it's so clearly manufactured and torqued beyond reason, while being led by hysterical, hypocritical, imbeciles like Pat Martin and "Liberal" leader, NDP Bob. The Media Party are a disgrace, and thankfully, mostly irrelevant from past lynchings.
ReplyDeleteI hope the people all come out to vote in Jack Layton riding
ReplyDeleteif they do we may see a strong Conservative elected that cares about CANADA
