Some analysts are saying it reveals an underlying narcissism in Trudeau.
OTTAWA — Justin Trudeau betrays his political immaturity and narcissism in suggesting that his commitment to a united Canada is dependent on whether the Conservative government validates his personal values, say prominent political analysts. His tirade was childish and juvenile.A forty year old man just does not act like that. Ok, he hates Stephen Harper and the Conservative government. That's his prerogative his tantrum from an MP and some one who one day wants to be come Liberal leader and PM is totally uncalled for. a forty year old man just does not act like that.
"This guy is clearly self-indulgent; he really does think everything is about him and his feelings," Barry Cooper, a political theorist at the University of Calgary, said Tuesday in commenting on statements Trudeau made in a recent French-language interview. "That's a measure of his lightweight status in the firmament of deep-thinking Liberals."
Those hopes of ever becoming Liberal leader and PM has now vanished. He's done. He's just not leadership material. This drama queen should go back to being a substitute drama teacher.
This is the old Liberal-Natural-Governing-Party syndrome. If the Liberals can't govern, then Canada is not being represented.
ReplyDeleteJustin is a joke in Quebec. He is not respected at all. His wife seems to have more brains and spine than he does.
Anyway, until Justin denounces Fidel Castro and the Communist government there, I will never respect him.
Not respected in Quebec but some English Canadian Liberals see him as the second coming: Pierre Trudeau number 2.
DeleteI think he thought that because this was a french interview it would be ignored outside of Quebec. How wrong he was.
ReplyDeleteI would like to propose another idea, until liberal governments support our oil sands that they get no equalization money from revenues of same industry.
Quebec is not a province to be proud of with over $200billions in debt; a have not province, but seems that Trudeau is- to remove from canada- go riddance Trudeau.
ReplyDeleteDrama queen shiny pony can then be Quebec's savior and they can fend for themselves. And not one more dime of our money to bail them out either.
I agree with the statements above, but I would take it a little further and suggest Trudeau Jr's narcissism is pathological. Referring to himself in the third person, shirking off any responsibility for his words and actions, and generally "acting" like a child... Drama queen antics and an entitled " how dare you hold me accountable", "don't you know who I am", "who my Father was" attitude illustrates just how entitled Trudope Jr thinks he is. It's no secret that Trudope Sr sought psychiatric guidance from an early age, ( when he hit puberty ) and did so for the rest of his life, while Trudeau Jr's Mother, Maggie is a befuddled mess. I would suggest Trudope Jr seek the same psychiatric help his Mother and Father sought, and then separate.
ReplyDeleteGood comment,Sean. I agree,Justin has a problem and should seek help.
