Wildrose to Unveil Their Full Slate of Candidates

With an election expected to be called any day the Wildrose Party is to unveil their full slate of candidates today.  There will candidates in all 87 ridings plus three candidates for senate elections.
We need to boot the old tired corrupt PC party out and get some fresh blood in the Alberta Legislature.
Wildrose candidate in Calgary MaCall, Gary Dauphin is sensing an appetite for change.
Grant Galpin, Wildrose candidate for Calgary McCall, said there is an appetite for change.
The Tories have suffered recently over several controversies.
“I think it’s going to be a very competitive election going forward and I think from a Wildrose perspective, and certainly from a personal perspective, I think there is a real growing sense there could be a significant change going forward,” he said.
“It is quite a feat for a relatively new party to ... go from one MLA to not only having additional MLAs due to floor crossing, but to also suddenly be competing at a level of head-to-head with a major party that has been in power for 40 years.”
With Wildrose nipping at the heels of the PCs in the polls this campaign  will sure to be a hard fought one on both sides.   We need to get out and support these Wildrose candidates in anyway we can.  Call your local association to volunteer, donate money, get the message out to everyone you come into contact with.

Remember the PCs are NOT conservative in any way shape or form.  Don't be fooled.  There is only one conservative party in Alberta and that party is the Wildrose.

Vikileaks and Anonymous,Could There Be Ties?

While the Media Party has been hot on the trail of robocalls, Sun Media has been looking into Vikileaks and Anonymous.  We all ready know that a Liberal staffer was behind Vikileaks, was supposed to attend the ethics committee and answer some questions but didn't show up because he's supposedly ill.

We don't know a lot about the Anonymous  made threats to Vic Toews if he didn't back away from the internet snooping bill.
Could there be a link between the two?   Another parliamentary committee will be looking into that.
OTTAWA - A parliamentary committee will invite foreign experts in tracing Internet hackers to find the people behind attempts to blackmail Public Safety Minister Vic Toews, QMI Agency has learned.
The House and procedural affairs committee began hearings Thursday to investigate threatening YouTube videos by a group purporting to be the political hacker group Anonymous.
Conservative MP Tom Lukiwski said the scope of the committee's investigation could broaden if another Commons committee uncovers any links between blasts against Toews from the Twitter account vikileaks and the Anonymous video postings.
"If they find any kind of a link then I think in the committee report they may be able to ask Parliament to consider a point of privilege based on what they uncover in their examination," he said about the ethics committee.
Ezra Levant is at least asking the right questions?

The questions the Media Party ignores. Hmmm.....wonder why?

Update: Sun Media's Bridgett Pellerin gives you some links.

Another update: From Ezra's monologue today.

What Is Going On In Ottawa?

The lynch mob  in the opposition benches and the media party are out there if full force with accusations and  no proof over robocalls  The hate and the venom is just unreal.
It doesn't help that the media party are doing their part to whip up the frenzy.

Bluelikeyou is suggesting maybe what's behind this is the opps want a do over of the last election.  I'm thinking the same thing.  The Conservative majority is not quite the result that the opposition and the media party were looking for on May 2 last year.  I'm pretty sure they were anticipating another minority in which the NDP/Lib/Bloc coalition could be installed.

Anyway, Ezra Levant has good synopsis of what's going on.

The politicians need to get to work on real issues. The economy is still shaky, we have a debt and deficit that needs to be dealt with. The middle east is fire with Assad killing his people and Iran working on nuclear weapons and threatening Israel. The financial crisis in Europe.  How about the Kitchener Dad who got arrested over his little girl's drawing the most of the media still has not pick up?

I am sick and tired of all the shenanigans that go on.  All the whipped up hysteria over faux scandals over the years. With the latest robocall hysteria, everyone please calm down until the investigation is done.  In the mean time lets focus on real issues.
