CBC Producer Mysteriously Finds Minister's Briefcase

Some thing doesn't smell right here. Some thing suspicious going on I say with CBC involved?

"EDMONTON — An Alberta government minister is apologizing after a briefcase containing sensitive government documents was stolen from his car while he was at dinner with a friend.

An associate producer with CBC Radio Edmonton later found the briefcase outside his apartment building."

Looks like some kind of set up to me. Somebody's being slimy.

Strong Canadian Dollar benefits Canadian NHL Teams

The rise in our Canadian dollar has helped the NHL, especially our Canadian teams. This comes from the New York Times.

The rising Canadian dollar is nearing parity with its United States counterpart. The Canadian dollar, whose value against the United States dollar fell to a low of 62 cents in 2002, is worth about 96 cents today. As a result, the revenues for the six Canadian clubs helped the entire league earn its highest operating profit in more than a decade, according to Forbes magazine
.

So for some the higher Canadian dollar is not a good thing like for instance our manufacturing industry is suffering but for others there are benefits. It's a tough balancing act. It would be nice if there was a point in the value of our dollar where all would benefit but where is that point?

More Problems in Liberal Land

Ooooooh..........With more dissension in the party, now over HST, Iffy better be watching his back. His BC MPs are against the HST. He says he will whip his party into voting in favor, will there be a revolt or consequences? Oh, my, what is he to do? Maybe saviour Peter Donolo will come to the rescue.

Because look who's waiting in the wings to take over.

Warmist's Credibility Shot

Not only is the Warmist's so called climate change science bad, but the PR campaign has been bad too. Their credibility is shot and they now know it.
Margaret Wente has a great column today that points this out. This small piece from her article:

American climate scientist Judith Curry wrote. She figures the damage inflicted by this affair on the credibility of climate research “is likely to be significant.”

How can our leaders knowing of this scam now (at least I hope they're aware), can go into this farce of climate change summit in Copenhagen, sign anything and spend billions of our money?

Cozy Dictators

Well now doesn't this just warm your heart. I'm sure it will warm the hearts of all the lefties out there. Libs and Dippers, doesn't this make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

" We feel at home here and among our brothers ... we're going to be together until the end," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez during a visit to Latin America on Wednesday.

Two crazy dictators banding together. What are those sayings now, "Two peas in pod" and "Birds of a Feather?"

Fits nicely. Why not just allow the little dictator from North Korea and the nutcase from Libya in on your little party? Hey, you're all kindred spirits right? Your hatred for Israel, the west, anything democratic.

Hey, enjoy your cozyness together losers, because democracy always wins out in the long run. Just ask our veterans, they'll tell ya.
